Arby's has brought back its deep-fried Thanksgiving sandwiches. The Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler and the Deep Fried Turkey Club returned on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at participating Arby's restaurants nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last, the chain said in an announcement on the Inspire Brands newsroom. "Arby's" topped 1,000 U.S. searches on Google Trends this week, as food sites spread the news that the holiday sandwiches are back about a month before Thanksgiving, which falls on Nov. 26 this year. Here is what is on each sandwich, what they cost and how long they will be around.
What we know
Arby's calls the return "back by popular demand" and says the sandwiches have become "a beloved tradition." Both are built on a quarter pound of thick-sliced deep-fried turkey on a toasted sub bun, according to the company and QSR Magazine.

The Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler
The Gobbler is the sandwich that is meant to taste like Thanksgiving dinner. Arby's lists a quarter pound of thick-sliced deep-fried turkey, crispy onions, Swiss cheese, stuffing, cranberry spread and mayo on a toasted sub bun. Sporked described it as "essentially just the Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich of our dreams." Brand Eating said the Gobbler comes on a toasted artisan sub roll.
The Deep Fried Turkey Club
The Club is the more familiar option. It pairs the same quarter pound of deep-fried turkey with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and mayo on a toasted sub bun, according to Arby's. If you want turkey without stuffing and cranberry, this is the one to order.
How much does it cost?
Arby's did not print a price in its announcement, and prices vary by restaurant. On launch day, Brand Eating reported that the Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler cost $6.49 and the Deep Fried Turkey Club cost $6.29 at an Arby's in Los Angeles. That is a single restaurant, not a national price, so your local menu may be higher or lower. The Arby's app shows the price at the location you pick before you order.
Arby's also has not published calorie counts in its announcement. If nutrition matters to you, check the nutrition information in the Arby's app or on Arbys.com for your order.
How long will Arby's turkey sandwiches be available?
Arby's has not said when the sandwiches will leave the menu. They are a limited-time offer at participating locations "while supplies last," according to the chain's release. In practice, that means:
- Not every Arby's has to carry them. "Participating locations" leaves room for individual restaurants to skip the promotion.
- They can sell out. Once a restaurant runs out of the turkey, the sandwiches may disappear there even if the promotion is still running elsewhere.
- Thanksgiving is the obvious target. Arby's markets the lineup around the holiday, but it has not tied the end date to it.
What's different from last year?
Not much, and that may be the point. In 2025, Arby's brought back the same two sandwiches in late October with the same recipes: the Gobbler with stuffing, cranberry spread, crispy onions, Swiss and mayo, and the Club with bacon, cheddar, lettuce and tomato, both on sub buns, QSR Magazine reported on Oct. 27, 2025. That 2025 lineup also included a new Apple Pie Shake. The 2026 announcement mentions only the two sandwiches.
A short history of Arby's deep-fried turkey
Arby's first added deep-fried turkey sandwiches in October 2017, when it launched three of them: a Deep Fried Turkey Club, a Cajun Deep Fried Turkey sandwich and a Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler, Brand Eating reported at the time. That original Gobbler was quite different. It had pepper bacon, cranberry spread, Swiss cheese, spicy brown honey mustard, tomatoes and leaf lettuce on honey wheat bread.
The Gobbler has changed several times since. In 2024, Arby's described an "all-new" Gobbler with crispy onions, everything seasoning, Swiss cheese, an herb spread, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun, according to an Oct. 30, 2024, Inspire Brands release. The same release said the Club was first launched in 2017 and brought back in 2020. The current stuffing-and-cranberry version arrived in 2025 and is back unchanged this year.
Why it's trending
Seasonal menu returns tend to draw a burst of searches, and this one landed in the same week as other fall favorites. McDonald's brought back the McRib at select restaurants on Oct. 27, which we covered in our McRib return guide. Arby's timing also puts its holiday sandwiches on menus about a month ahead of Thanksgiving, giving fans several weeks to try them.
The news was picked up by food and lifestyle outlets including Southern Living, MLive and Sporked, which helped push "Arby's" onto Google's U.S. trending list on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Tips before you go
- Check the app first. The Arby's app shows whether your nearest restaurant has the sandwiches and what they cost there.
- Order the one that fits your taste. The Gobbler is sweet and savory from the cranberry and stuffing; the Club is the classic bacon-and-cheddar choice.
- Don't wait until Thanksgiving week. With no end date and a "while supplies last" promise, the safest bet is to try it sooner rather than later.
- Planning a fall get-together? See our Halloween 2026 spending and safety guide, and remember that daylight saving time ends Nov. 1.
What's next
- Price checks around the country. As more people order, local prices will become clearer. Use the app for your restaurant.
- Reviews. Sporked said it plans to publish its own review of the Gobbler.
- An end date. Arby's has not announced one. We will update this article if the chain confirms when the sandwiches leave the menu.
The bottom line
Arby's Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler and Deep Fried Turkey Club are back as of Oct. 26, 2026, at participating restaurants for a limited time. The Gobbler packs stuffing and cranberry into a turkey sub, the Club keeps it classic, and prices are around $6.29 to $6.49 in Los Angeles but vary by location.
